DNS Features on DCP

The domain control panel in HE is also called DCP. Many customers have no idea about DCP. Here is a simple introduction about how to use it.

i.Login
Through the site of dcp.hostease.com, we can enter into the login page. Then it is required to enter your username and password. At this time, customers will meet all kinds of problems to cause the failure to log in.

Firstly, you have to know what is your username. The username is also the address of your mailbox when you register your domain name;

Secondly, concerning to the password, you can click “Forgot Password ” to reset a password if you are the first time to log in, then the password will be sent to your mailbox. If you can’t find the email, please check thejunk mail.Some  kinds of mailbox indeed can’t receive it, at this time you have to contact the customer service to send a temporary password to you.

ii. Functions
When you login in the DCP successfully, you can manage your domain name in it. Here, you can modify NS and propagation, enable privacy protection, accomplish domain forwarding and so on.

But you can’t renew and transfer your domain name in DCP, they have to be handled in your manage account.

Modify NS
Products——List All Orders——domain name——Domain Registration——Name Servers——fill in NS

Modify Propagation
Products——List All Orders——domain name——DNS Management——Manage DNS——click Add A Record

Enable Privacy Protection
Products——List All Orders——domain name——Domain Registration——Privacy Protection——Enable

Accomplish Domain Forwarding
Products——List All Orders——domain name——Domain Forwarding——fill in Destination

Move Domain Name
Products——List All Orders——domain name——More Services——fill in New Customer’s ID and New Customer’s username
